Policy
Privacy policy
This policy covers www.beavertrials.com, the Beaver Trials game. It was last updated on October 20, 2026.
There is no account. You do not give a name, email, or password to play.
What stays in this browser
The game writes a few values to local storage on your device:
- A random id, used so one browser counts once per question.
- Your answers, streak, and which earlier trials you have already opened.
- A copy of a trial you have loaded, so the page can show it again if the network drops.
Clearing the site data in your browser deletes those values on that device. It does not delete the anonymous vote that was already added to the public counts.
What the server stores
When you vote, the server stores that choice under the random id, the day, and the question, and it adds one to the public tally for that choice. The tallies are what everyone sees as percentages. The server also keeps the list of question ids for each day, so that day's trial does not change later.
If you submit a deal, the server stores the prompt, the two sides, and the optional name you typed. That name is for the lodge. It is not shown on the public card. A denied deal is kept off the daily five. An approved one is stored with the day it lands on.
Requests are rate-limited by IP address. The address is used to count requests in a short window. It is not added to your vote, and it is not used to build a profile.
Vote records are kept so earlier trials still show how the pond voted. They are not sold.
Pages also load a visit counter from DataFa.st. That script counts that someone opened a page. It is not tied to a vote or a name.
Advertising
Today's trial does not require an ad. Earlier trials open after a rewarded break. Until H5 Games Ads is approved, that break is a stand-in inside the game and does not contact an ad network.
After Google AdSense approves this site, pages may load Google's advertising script. Google may then use cookies or similar identifiers to show and measure ads, including on other sites, under Google's advertising policies. You can control ad personalization in Google's ad settings. If H5 Games Ads is added later, a rewarded ad may play before an earlier trial. Finishing that ad is what opens the trial. If Google has no ad to show, the trial still opens.
The publisher id is added only after approval. This policy will stay accurate about that. The contact address for privacy questions is on the contact page.
Children
Beaver Trials is not directed at children under 13. Playing does not ask for a name. A deal you submit can include an optional name, and that name is stored with the submission.
